Maundy Thursday- Passover

Psalms 55:12-14  (NLT) It is not an enemy who taunts me - I could bear that. It is not my foes who so arrogantly insult me - I could have hidden from them. Instead, it is you-my equal, my companion, my close friend. What good fellowship we once enjoyed as we walked together to the house of God.

 

Luke 22:7 -8 (ESV) Then came the day of unleavened bread, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. SO Jesus sent Peter and John saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”

Luke 22:19-22 (ESV) And he took the bread and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” And like wise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “Tis cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant of my blood. But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table. (…)”
